Category talk:Character Groups

This category arose from discussion at Category talk:Muppet Character Types. I left out "Muppet," though, so as to include things like the Devils or the Grouchketeers. Basically, it seemed that a lot of items stuck in Character Types were really groups, sometimes in the same category as the type the group was composed of (Frog Scouts and frogs, Worm Scouts and worms). The difference between a group and a type depends on whether it's clearly an organization rather than a species, or if its a group that only appeared once or twice as a backing chorus or whatnot (Cashboxes and Locks), and unlike most character types, has few or no individual members. I migrated most of the questionable items, though I'm unsure about Bossmen, Gawky Birds, and The Snerfs. They're probably okay, but they seem to function mostly as group characters rather than a widespread species ala Honkers or Doozers. Thoughts? Andrew Leal (talk) 16:07, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
