Carl Mericana of Savannah, Montana appears in the Sesame Street Game Show "The Triangle is Right" alongside Prairie Dawn. Unlike the latter, Carl finds the game quite challenging, despite the fact that Guy Smiley tells him in advance that the answer the each question will always be "a triangle". With the first question he's asked, he gets the answer right, but only with sudden realization, not to mention excitement. Then, in the final round, despite having a visual of the shape, he gets it wrong, guessing it's a circle. Needless to say, Carl loses the game.

Carl wears a cowboy hat and sports a very northwestern accent.
