Carl Mericana of Savannah, Montana appears in the Sesame Street game show "The Triangle is Right" alongside Prairie Dawn. Unlike his opponent, Carl finds the game quite challenging, despite the fact that Guy Smiley tells him in advance that the answer to each question will always be "a triangle". Carl gets his first answer right, but in the final round, despite having a visual of the shape, he gets it wrong, guessing it's a circle. Needless to say, Carl loses the game.

Carl wears a cowboy hat and sports a very northwestern accent.
