Carl Gordon (1932-2010) was an actor best known for playing the father of the title character on the Fox sitcom Roc (1991-1994). On Sesame Street, he played Gordon's father, Mr. Robinson. His only appearance was a 2004 episode in which he forms a musical group with Gordon, Miles and Elmo.

Gordon's other roles on TV included guest spots on ER, Felicity, Law & Order, The Practice, and Whoopi. On stage, he originated the role of patriarch Doaker in August Wilson's The Piano Lesson on Broadway, and later appeared in the 2003 revival of Wilson's Ma Rainey's Black Bottom.
