Calvin & Hobbes is a syndicated comic strip about the antics of a dangerously and imaginative six-year-old-kid named Calvin and his stuffed toy tiger named Hobbes, who is very only anthropomorphic towards Calvin. The strip began running in newspapers on November 18, 1985 and ended on December 31, 1995, when creator Bill Watterson decided to take up painting lessons.
