Cactus is, as his name states, a cactus and is also anthropomorphic. He appears in the Elmo's World installment "Flowers, Plants & Trees." He asks Elmo if he wants to talk to him, but the furry red one is initially puzzled, unaware of what a cactus has to do with the topic. Cactus explains that cacti are indeed plantlife, which grow in the desert, and can even sprout flowers, but need less water than other flora.
