Bushman Bill appeared as a wild-haired Large Lavender Live Hand Anything Muppet on Sesame Street, and was the disc jockey host of the radio program "The Hit Parade." He introduced the number one hit, "Be My D" by Didi O'Day and the Dew Drops.

He usually talks very quickly, and very loudly.
