Buh

Buh is an old gray owl from Sesamstrasse, the German co-production of Sesame Street.

Buh is kind of slow and likes to sleep. He lives in a hollow tree and plays the trumpet. Sometimes Buh investigates as a detective, but he regularly falls victim to Feli Felu's mischief.

Buh was added to the Sesamstrasse cast in 1989, and was mostly active until 2002. According to the show's writers, he wasn't used very often, as they found him to be a difficult character to write for.
