Bugsy S. and his hypnotized horse open episode 523 of The Muppet Show. The act occurs on stage while the home viewer watches the backstage antics of Kermit and Miss Piggy. When Piggy returns to the stage to introduce Linda Ronstadt's "Blue Bayou" number, it is the horse who has succeeded in hypnotizing Bugsy.
