Buffalo Bill (born William Frederick Cody 1846-1917) was an American soldier and showman. A prominant figure of the Old West, Bill is most famous for his Wild West Shows (a mixture of a circus and horse show), the most famous of which featured Annie Oakley.

In the coloring book Great Muppets in American History, Bill the Bubble Guy appears as "Bubble-O Bill".
