Buddy is a gorilla featured in the Jim Henson Pictures movie Buddy. In the film, Buddy is taken in as a baby by an eccentric millionaire animal lover, Gertrude Lintz. Buddy finds life in the city very difficult, as it is very different from his natural habitat, and despite Trudy's care he soon becomes hard to control due to his size and strength.

The Buddy character was an animatronic puppet built by Jim Henson's Creature Shop.
