Briane Nasimok was a writer for Canada's Sesame Street.

Other children's television-related roles include writing broadcast scripts for the Toronto Santa Claus Parade, contributing writer for Gemini-nominated series The Mighty Jungle, game show Uh-Oh!, and Sharon, Lois, and Bram series Skinnamarink TV. He produced kids improv show Don't Lick the Pig in 2002.

Starting as a non-singing opera performer, he later wrote for the Toronto Star and Toronto Sun newspapers, and covered the Toronto Blue Jays for United Press International for ten years. In recent years, he has performed and produced live comedy, producing the Canadian Comedy Awards since 2005.
