Brandy Rayana Norwood (b. 1979), known professionally as Brandy, is an actress and R&B and pop singer, songwriter, and record producer.

Brandy performs the Sesame Beginnings theme song on the Sesame Beginnings direct-to-DVD videos. Brandy also appeared with her daughter, Sy'rai in the 2006 Sesame Beginnings DVD Beginning Together.
