In episode 106 of Muppets Tonight, Johnny Fiama becomes angry with Sal Minella after a failed meeting with his idol, Tony Bennett. In a film noir-ish montage, Sal can be seen sadly walking around the KMUP studios, while Tony is heard singing "Boulevard of Broken Dreams." As the segment comes to a close, Sal enters Tony's dressing room and finds that Tony is singing the song live.
