Bootsie and Brad

Bootsie and Brad are a pair of fashion dolls who appeared in recurring MuppeTelevision segments on The Jim Henson Hour. They are a Barbie and Ken knock-off who speak in over-exaggerated tones and recite dialogue written from an extreme sarcastic point of view. They are owned by Amanda, and live in a dollhouse where they come alive while she plays with them.
Bootise lives up an an exotic lifestyle, with a large wardrobe, glamorous careers while entertaining her clinging boyfriend who worries about being forgotten. Like Barbie, Bootsie's exploits are not limited to modeling, and include becoming an astronaut and president of the United States.

- Episode 101: Science Fiction: Bootsie becomes an astronaut, and Brad is worried because, due to her many outfits and variations, she hardly has any time for him.
- Episode 103: Monster Telethon: Bootsie runs for president, and decides to let Brad be her vice president.
