Bobby Moynihan (b. 1977) is a former cast member on Saturday Night Live. On SNL, he imitated Gonzo in several sketches.[1] He guest starred in a season 43 episode of Sesame Street as the Quacker Duck Man.

During the closing of the October 6, 2012 broadcast of Saturday Night Live, Moynihan can be seen among the crowd of cast members interacting with Big Bird, who made a cameo appearance on the show. On November 10, 2015, Moynihan renewed his friendship with Big Bird in a Funny or Die video (with Big Bird as the company's intern).

In 2014, Moynihan moderated the Sesame Street panel, "Making Learning a Funny Affair," at Lincoln Center. In 2017, he served as the guest star for The Muppets Take the Bowl concert series at the Hollywood Bowl, and later for The Muppets Take the O2 in 2018. He hosted San Diego Comic-Con 2019 Sesame Street Puppets Live!

In 2023, Moynihan co-starred with Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem in a video for Spotify, playing security guard Aaron for the company.

Moynihan was a sketch regular on Late Night with Conan O'Brien for a number of years. Other credits include guest spots on the new revival series of The Electric Company and 30 Rock.

When Kermit was interviewed on the D23 Inside Disney podcast, he commented in relation to The Muppets Take the Bowl that "Bobby Moynihan is one of the funniest, most talented, and one of the most willing to roll with the penguins performers we've ever worked with."

Moynihan replied to the quote in a later episode, "I've been blessed to have some very amazing moments in my life, but standing on stage with Paul Williams and every single one of the Muppets, pretty much, behind a log with Kermit and a banjo, singing "Rainbow Connection," was something that was not lost on me. It's crazy, I think about it too much. It was nuts, it was one of the most beautiful moments of my life, where I went like 'oh Bobby, you did it! Yeah!' I was just very happy, it was a very great moment, a very happy moment. If you ever get a chance to sing with the Muppets, you should do it, it's wonderful." He also agreed with one of the host's hope to see the program on Disney+. Of his kissing Miss Piggy, he commented "it was all consensual, she planned one on me, to be honest."[2]
