Bob Schieffer (b. 1937) is an American television journalist best known for his work with CBS. In his career, Schieffer has covered the White House, anchored the CBS Evening News, and moderated Face the Nation.

Schieffer interviewed Kermit the Frog while he was in Washington, D.C. for the The National Christmas Tree Lighting in 2011.
