Looking at the CityKids page, it says "The pilot episode of the show had different puppet characters than the rest of the series. Each puppet resembled its final stage but had clearly been rebuilt."
That explains why the puppets look different. But the question is, is the episode on YouTube the pilot, or is it from later in the series?
