Blue (dog)
From Muppet Wiki
Blue is the title character of the non-Muppet television series Blue's Clues and Blue's Room. She debuted in 1996, in Blue's Clues, leaving clues with her blue pawprints to help her friends Steve (and later Joe) solve puzzles, and to help pre-schoolers with cognitive development. Blue communicated mostly through a series of expressive yelps, barks, and other sounds. The series and character were created by Traci Paige Johnson (who also supplied the dog's voice) and Angela C. Santomero.
In 2004, the spin-off series Blue's Room debuted, featuring a fully conversational puppet Blue, and focusing on her adventures with her playroom friends. Blue (in both animated and puppet form) was one of many celebrity children's figures to appear in the We Are Family music video, alongside Bear, Elmo and the Sesame Street cast, and Kermit the Frog and other Muppet Show alumni.
