The Black Jacket Rizzo Action Figure was released by Palisades Toys as an industry giveaway at the Wizard World Philadelphia convention and at a licensing show in New York City.

This repainted version of the Rizzo Action Figure was packaged in a bag instead of a box and marked the debut of Rizzo in Palisades' line of Muppet action figures.
