Bill Bailey (b. 1964) is a British stand-up comedian and actor who voiced the Whale in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

On television, Bailey starred on the sitcoms Spaced and Black Books, in addition to several self-written series and specials. His film credits include Saving Grace (with Brenda Blethyn) and Hot Fuzz (as twin desk sergeants).
