Bill the Frog appeared in The Muppets Take Manhattan as part of the trio of frogs working on the Ocean Breeze Soap advertising campaign. Along with Jill the Frog and Gil the Frog, Bill works at Mad Ave Advertising, and he appears to be the unofficial leader. Like his colleagues, Bill has a somewhat droning voice and a trademark "mmmm." Unlike his colleagues, or most frogs, Bill possesses ears. Bill is the first of the trio to greet Kermit the Frog, who becomes their new coworker, Phillip Phil. Bill, Jill, and Gill all reappeared as bosses in the Muppet Race Mania video game.
