"Big Noise from Winnetka" is an instrumental piece and improvised composition that was created at a live performance by Ray Baudic and Bob Haggart when they were members of the Bob Crosby Orchestra. Haggart whistled while Baudic played on the bass with his drumsticks.
Floyd and Nigel team up to perform "Big Noise from Winnetka" on episode 218 of The Muppet Show. Floyd trades in his trademark Sergeant Pepper jacket for a white suit and his bass guitar for a bass violin. Nigel, in a rare onstage performance, displays a talent for whistling that he would reprise in "Sam's Song" on episode 418.
