Big Bird and the ABCs is a Sesame Street Live show first produced by VEE Corporation for the 1987-1988 tour. It was also repeated over the next four years.
In the show, the Sesame Street gang attempts to teach the alphabet to their new friend, an alien named Tee Hee from the planet Crayon, and who speaks the language Crayon.
The show runs roughly 100 minutes.

- This is the first show to feature Super Grover.
- This is Telly Monster's debut show.
- Tee Hee's voice is performed by Camille Bonora; when the character returns in 1990's Sleeping Birdie, she's voiced by Diana Pemelton.
- In later editions, the characters of Telly, Mr. Snuffleupagus, Gina, Painter, Doctor, and Farmer were dropped. By 1993, Elmo was added to the cast.

- By 1989, "My Womblie" was dropped. "Grouchy Green and Happy Blue," originally a roller-skating routine, was revised as "Me Feel Great" with the characters dancing instead.
