Big Bird's Square Meal is a 1988 Sesame Street storybook containing two short stories.
- "Big Bird's Square Meal": Granny Bird comes to visit Big Bird for a picnic, with Cookie Monster and Elmo. During their picnic, they learn about shapes from the various items in their meal.
- "Who Ever Heard of a Purple Puppy?": Ernie and Bert decide to draw pictures on a rainy morning. Bert draws a pigeon, while Ernie draws a picture of a purple puppy against a pink sky with a yellow tree. Bert tries to teach Ernie about what colors one encounters in the real world (although this being Sesame Street, practical examples such as blue skies are also contrasted with blue fur), but he then sees a purple puppy himself.
