Betty and Melissa Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches were among the guests on one of Sesame Street's "Here is Your Life" segments, celebrating the life of a loaf of bread. They were made from another loaf that was Loaf's friend in the bakery, but has now been made into sandwiches and French toast.

They were performed by Jerry Nelson and Richard Hunt.
