Best of the Muppets

Best of the Muppets, released in May 2004, was the first new Muppet album since Disney purchased the rights to the Muppets. It was released as a soundtrack to The Muppets' Wizard of Oz.

Eight of the nine extra songs included on the album had also been featured on The Muppet Show: Music, Mayhem and More!, a CD released by Rhino Records in 2002. The only new, non-Oz song was "Halfway Down the Stairs."
