Bernice the Warthog appears in the "Walrus & Warthog" episode of The Animal Show, where she told Stinky and Jake about warthogs and their tusks. She is very proud to be ugly.

The puppet would be reused as Warren the Warthog in the third season episode "Warthog and Baboon." The puppet would later appear on Muppets Tonight.

The puppet was also used as Doreen Warthog, Mr. Warthog, and Mrs. Warthog on Mopatop's Shop as well as in several Puppet Up! shows.
