Bart is Bert's twin brother, who appears in Sesame Street Season 5. Bart is the opposite of Bert -- he's cheerful and laughs a lot.

It is unclear whether Brad, Bert's nephew who appeared in Season 9, is Bart's son or the child of another, as yet unseen sibling.
