In Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas, Emmet Otter, Wendell Porcupine, Charlie Muskrat and Harvey Beaver attempted to perform "Barbeque" at the talent show. But before they could go on, Yancey Woodchuck sang his own unique version, forcing them to practice another song.
In the stage adaptation, a short reprise is performed by the jug-band with Alice Otter and Hetty Muskrat.
