The Baby Poison Cackler appeared in the Fraggle Rock episode "The Trial of Cotterpin Doozer," where it hatched from an egg inside a nest. Large Marvin Fraggle giving his food to the Baby Poison Cackler was enough for Judge Gavel Doozer let Cotterpin Doozer keep her job.

An adult Poison Cackler had already appeared in the episode "The Wizard of Fraggle Rock."
