Baby Animal is the most unruly of the Muppet Babies.
He and Skeeter are the main characters who did not appear in the dream sequence from The Muppets Take Manhattan that launched the series. Baby Animal only appeared in puppet form in Muppet Family Christmas and as a puppet poser in such books as Muppet Babies: Classic Nursery Rhymes and Muppet Babies: Classic Children's Tales.
In the first season of Muppet Babies, his voice was performed by Howie Mandel. Later in the series, he was performed by Dave Coulier.
Animal appeared in the ending tag of each episode, which included such appearences as breaking out of an egg, hanging on behind an airplace, etc.
His trademark line was "Go bye-bye!"
