He has played with a number of major orchestras in the United States and performed at such venues as Boston's Jordan Hall, Boston Symphony Hall, Carnegie Hall and the White House during the Clinton administration.

Pratt appeared on Sesame Street in a skit with Big Bird, an achievement more impressive to his friends than having played at Carnegie Hall.[1] In this segment, he plays the piano at Finders Keepers, which attracts the ears of the Street's inhabitants who listen in.(EKA: Episode 3745) He also appeared in a celebrity version of "The Alphabet Song."
