Arthur Dignam (b. 1939) is an Australian actor whose career has combined character leads in Australian productions with supporting roles and bits in international films. Dignam played Acrisius in The StoryTeller: Greek Myths episode "Perseus and the Gorgon."

In film, Dignam played principal roles such as Brother Francine in The Devil's Playground (1976), mad Dr. Le Sangel in Strange Behavior (1981), and homosexual power-broker "The Senator" in The Everlasting Secret Family (1988). More recently, the actor made an unbilled cameo as Bride of Frankenstein star Ernest Thesiger in Gods and Monsters and had a small but vivid part as Christian's stern father in Moulin Rouge. Television work has included guest spots on the Disney Channel series Five Mile Creek and The New Avengers.
