Arabella Hong, also known as Arabella Hong Young, is a Chinese-American actress who played the kindly Chinatown shopkeeper who starts Big Bird on his quest in Big Bird in China. A trained singer as well as actress, Hong originated the role of Helen Chiao in The Flower Drum Song on Broadway in 1958. She is also the author of the book Singing Professionally.
