The Annual Arab-U.S. Policymakers Conference is an annual event held in Washington, D.C. to raise awareness of Arab and U.S. relations.

On October 22, 2010, H. Melvin Ming appeared to talk about Sesame Workshop's efforts in diplomacy. Grover appeared during his speech, claiming to be a diplomat himself (demonstrating his skills by hopping up and down shouting "Diplo-diplo-diplomat!").
