Ann Marie (Timinelli) Holdgruen was employed at the New York Muppet Workshop. Although she built many puppet characters for Henson, she was one of the very few who was patient enough to build Kermit the Frog. She was also the builder of choice for Big Bird's head.
With Sesame Street, she has won three Daytime Emmy Awards and has been nominated for 5 others. Her 1999 win with the Sesame team actually bested her nomination with the Bear in the Big Blue House team.
