Angels are residents of Heaven and attendants/warriors for God according to Christian beliefs. Angels are also traditional figures in Christmas iconography and whimsical gift shop items.

• When Fritz (played by Dr. Strangepork) is murdered in The Muppet Show episode 414, Gonzo leads a cast of Muppets dressed as angels in a rendition of "It's Gonna Be a Great Day" as they help Fritz ascend into Heaven.

• Daniel serves as Kermit the Frog's guardian angel in It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie. Other human angels, including Glenn, are seen in Heaven.

• In the Sesame Street song "One Way," a greaser can't get to his girlfriend's house because of a one way sign, until his Guardian Angel comes with a roadmap to show him an alternate route.

• Zoe appears as an angel in the Nativity pageant in Elmo's World: Happy Holidays.
