Amazing Al is an Australian TV personality who appears in a 2007 episode of Sesame Street where he spotted Elmo singing his ABCs and chooses him to be a constentant on "The Amazing Alphabet Race", which of course is a parody of the reality television game show The Amazing Race. He later appears in the same episode where he receives a package, but actually gave it to Elmo since it's his prize for winning the game.
