Alvy Mellish appeared in episode 16 of Statler and Waldorf: From the Balcony.
Alvy, named after characters played by actor/director Woody Allen in Annie Hall and Bananas, exhibits many of the characteristics usually associated with Allen's on-screen persona. Namely, he is a comic, bumbling and neurotic nebbish.
In episode 16 of From the Balcony, Alvy complained about Woody Allen's decision to film his most recent movie, Match Point, in London, England instead of New York City, where almost all of his movies have been shot.
