"Altijd weer hetzelfde" (Always the Same) was written and composed by Victor Alstef, Wim van den Hurk and Jorg Bryant. It's not clear if all three wrote this song together, but it was mentioned that way on the very first album on which the song appeared.

The song was performed by Erik J. Meijer who performed Pino at the time and, Bert Plagman who performs Tommie and Catherine van Woerden who performs Ieniemienie.

The song is about the fact that they don't want to sleep, because they're not sleepy. (But the song suggests differently, because they are yawning all the time).
