All Together Now is a skiffle-styled popular tune written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney for the Beatles album, Yellow Submarine. Originally recorded in less than nine hours and with only six takes, the upbeat, almost childish song was a natural both as the finale of the album Kermit Unpigged sung by the Muppet cast and as a Sesame Street performance, albeit with a slight change to the lyrics, "can I take my friend to bed."
