Alison Steadman (b. 1946) is a British comedian and actress who played Periwinkle in The Jim Henson Hour installment "Monster Maker."

Steadman's film credits include Clockwise (as John Cleese's wife), The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (as Daisy), Blame It on the Bellboy, Topsy-Turvey, and The Life and Death of Peter Sellers.

TV work includes Lenny Henry in Pieces, the sitcom The Worst Week of My Life, the animated series Stressed Eric, and the 1995 TV version of Pride and Prejudice (as Mrs. Bennet). In 2007, Steadman appeared in the sitcom Gavin & Stacey as Gavin's proud mom, Pamela.
