Alana Kerr is a puppeteer who plays one of the Weatherberries on Sesame Tree, the Northern Ireland co-production of Sesame Street. She says she had no training as a puppeteer before the program.^[1]

Kerr has a BA in Drama/English from Trinity College Dublin, is the Founder of the Belfast Actors' Studio, and was a member of both the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and National Youth Music Theatre of Great Britain; she is professionally trained as a mezzo soprano.
