Janis Liebhart, Jim Henson and Alan O'Day.

Alan O'Day (1940-2013) was a composer and songwriter who, with Janis Liebhart, wrote nearly 100 songs for the Muppet Babies television show as well as the stage show Jim Henson's Muppet Babies Live! He and Liebhart also composed the Sesame Street song, "Elmo Didn't Mean To."

The two collaborated again on several occasions, the most significant being a series of children's videos for National Geographic. In 1977, O'Day had a #1 hit song, "Undercover Angel," which he wrote and sang. He also appeared in the 1978 film Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and wrote songs for such artists as Three Dog Night, Helen Reddy, Anne Murray, and the Righteous Brothers.
