- Robin the Frog wanted to sing "They Call the Wind Maria" from Paint Your Wagon on episode 212 of The Muppet Show, but Kermit made him sing "I'm Five" instead. After he indulges his uncle, Robin ekes out a few bars of his preferred solo before being yanked offstage.
- The Count parodies "I Could Have Danced All Night" from My Fair Lady as "I Could Have Counted All Night," with completely different music and lyrics, on Sesame Street.
