Alan Jay Lerner

Alan Jay Lerner (August 31, 1918 – June 14, 1986) was an American lyricist and libbrettist of Broadway musicals. His best known collaborations were with composer Frederick Loewe. Together, they wrote Brigadoon, Paint Your Wagon, My Fair Lady, Camelot, and the film Gigi.
