As the turkey truck driver who agrees to give Big Bird a lift on his way back to Sesame Street, Jennings sings the song in an attempt to lift his feathered hitchhiker's spirits. Big Bird takes his words to heart and joins in, believing that he can make it home, even if it does take him three weeks instead of three hours.
