Abe Burrows (1910-1985) was a composer and writer whose career began in old-time radio (including The Danny Kaye Show) and later included writing and script-doctoring for many Broadway shows, notably Guys and Dolls and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He is the father of television director James Burrows.
Five songs by Abe Burrows have been used on The Muppet Show:
