A Grouch's Christmas is a 1990 Sesame Street storybook.

Oscar the Grouch is the only one on Sesame Street who isn't looking forward to Christmas. Elmo rounds up some friends to help show Oscar some ways even HE can appreciate the holidays. He and his mommy make him some sardine Christmas cookies with chocolate icing. Ernie and Bert show that tree decorating isn't an exact science by bequeathing Oscar with a small Christmas tree decorated with tin cans, orange peels, and string. Big Bird points out that Christmas includes being with one's family, which gives Oscar the idea to invite Grundgetta over for a nice day of arguing. Herry Monster (dressed as Santa Claus) and Luis, who have been working to collect for the needy, take away the too nice-looking scarf that somehow ended up in Oscar's can. Finally, Count von Count shows that you can count your friends among your blessings at Christmas time. Oscar now knows how to appreciate the holiday season, and he joins his friends in a carol sing.
