A Delicious Day is a 2010 children's story released as a companion to Food for Thought: Eating Well on a Budget. The story was written by Lesile Kimmelman and illustrated by Maribeth Nelson. The story follows Big Bird, Granny Bird, and Natalie Bird to the local food pantry and grocery store.
